Terms of service

By creating an account or using Health and Medic, you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service. Health and Medic is operated by Health and Medic Pvt Ltd.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or 16+ with parental consent for limited functionality.
• Verified-professional features (writing reviews, commenting on articles, posting in groups, claiming employer pages) require a successful identity verification.
• Anyone — patient, medical representative, student — may book paid appointments with verified doctors. No clinical qualifications are required to be a patient.

• Use accurate information when signing up and verifying.
• Don't share your sign-in or session with anyone.
• Keep your contact info up to date so we can reach you about grievances or moderation actions.
• One person, one account.

The full moderation policy is at /community-guidelines. In short:

• No naming individuals (other than yourself or the institution). No patient information. No identifiable clinical anecdotes.
• Reviews must be your own first-person experience working at the company. Reviews from non-employees are removed.
• No defamation, no harassment, no slurs in any language. Truth is a defence; truth + public interest is a stronger one.
• No content that violates Indian law: IT Rules 2021, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 (defamation, obscenity, incitement), Consumer Protection Act, applicable medical-advertising rules.

We rely on the safe-harbour provisions of IT Rules 2021. To stay there:

• Every review goes through pre-publication moderation. We hold until reviewed.
• We act on grievances within 24 hours (acknowledgment) and 15 days (resolution).
• Court / law-enforcement orders are actioned within 36 hours.
• We retain the reviewer's identity in our audit log and disclose only on a valid judicial / police order. [review]

• Doctor appointments and employer subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. GST-compliant invoices are generated automatically.
• Appointments: patient cancellations are not supported in v1; doctors may cancel. Refund policy ships with a future release.
• Employer subscriptions: monthly unlimited can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current cycle. No partial-cycle refunds.
• Per-post job credits are non-refundable once a post is published.

• You can delete your account from /settings at any time. Some content (e.g., reviews) may persist as anonymized records.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Strikes accumulate; 5 active strikes auto-suspend.
